TRAINING
We have swim training three times a week at Fyrishov, one hour on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7.30 PM and Saturday 8:30-10:30 with our coach Sören.

Running training is on Thursdays at 5:30 PM (short session) and more informally on Sundays (long session). "Anyone going running this Sunday?" - we try to alternate Sunday running and cycling. We are also welcome to train With Uppsala Runners Club at 9:00 am (10:am Winter) on Sundays.

SOME OF OUR TOP ATHLETES

Sofia Hultman  Bengt Salomonsson Gunnar Söderström

Sofia is currently our top female triathlete. She was placed third in the Long Distance World Championships in Säter in 1999.
Amongst the boys Bengt and Gunnar are perhaps our two top athletes. Bengt is one of Sweden's very best veterans and has been a traithlete since the sport was introduced in Sweden (in Uppsala).
Gunnar keeps Sweden's and Australia's younger Triathletes on their toes.

THE REST OF US

As in most other clubs the rest of us ordinary mortals just carry on having fun, trying not to drown at swimming and cursing whatever injury is currently making life interesting.
Most importantly of all we seem to have a lot of fun!

You'll find (most of) us in the photo gallery. Hamish hasn't had his digital camera very long ...
